He is a prominent architect in the Austrian firm Baumschlager Eberle Architekten that joined forces with Czech studio Hnilička Architects + Planners to compete for the design and construction of the new headquarters of Česká spořitelna, the largest bank in the Czech Republic. Even though he did not draw inspiration from Prague’s Smíchov district, his team’s design caught the eye of the client and won the entire competition.
